Welcome to the Entrusted Houston Resource Center, where we cater to the needs of diverse families including foster, adoptive, biological, kinship, and fictive kinship caregivers. Our center serves as a one-stop destination, offering a range of essentials for families in need, including items such as clothing, shoes, diapers, wipes, and more. Caregivers are welcome to visit our warehouse during open hours to find everything they require that we have available. Additionally, we graciously accept donations in good condition during these hours, which contribute to our mission of supporting families in our community. Serving approximately 300-400 children a month, we play a crucial role in meeting the needs of families across Houston. We also extend a warm invitation to individuals interested in volunteering at our warehouse, as your willingness to help is invaluable to us. Furniture Program
Welcome to our furniture program, dedicated to supporting families under the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) in Harris and surrounding counties. Serving approximately 10 families each month, we provide essential household items such as dining tables, beds, and sofas to those in need. Our application process, exclusive to caseworkers, ensures a streamlined experience for families transitioning under DFPS supervision. With an inventory consisting of 60% donated items and 40% new purchases, we offer a diverse selection of quality options tailored to each family's specific requirements. Following the application, our volunteer coordinator works closely with families to select suitable items and arrange deliveries, ensuring a personalized and efficient service. Thank you for considering our program as we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of DFPS families, one piece of furniture at a time.
