Every day in Houston, children face crisis with little warning. A grandparent receives a late-night call. A foster family prepares for emergency placement. A biological parent works tirelessly to stabilize their home and prevent removal.
Most of the families Entrusted Houston serves today are kinship and biological families—caregivers stepping up without subsidies, without preparation, and often without resources. These families want to keep children safe, connected, and surrounded by people they trust.
When you become a Power of 100 Partner, your commitment is honored with a heart on our Power of 100 Wall—a visible reminder that you stand for dignity, stability, and permanency for Houston’s children.
Your heart represents stepping into that gap—so poverty never becomes the reason a child loses permanency.
Why Stability Matters
Children in care experience an average of four placements and wait nearly 20 months for permanency. Every move adds trauma. Every delay makes healing harder.
Entrusted Houston provides the practical support that creates stability—beds, clothing, diapers, car seats, furniture, hygiene items, and safe spaces for children without immediate placement.
Stability changes outcomes. Permanency changes futures.
A Safe Place at Just the Right Time
When no placement is available, children may otherwise sleep in CPS offices or hotels. Through Entrusted’s Bunkhouse and Resource Center, children receive a safe place to land, a bed to sleep in, and essentials to carry them through until permanency is secured.

Become a Power of 100 Partner
Each Power of 100 partner commits to $5,000 annually (which can be given: $5,000 annually, $1,250 quarterly or $420 monthly). Partners include: Families, Churches, Businesses, Organizations.
Every $5,000 partnership is represented by a heart on our campaign wall—symbolizing a community of partners standing together around dignity, stability, and permanency.
