Caseworkers for the Department of Family Protective Services are the unsung heroes fighting for child permanency on the front lines in Harris County. Despite their crucial role, they often go unnoticed. This is a tough job that does not get a lot of recognition and whose load is often heavy.
Recognizing
Entrusted Houston focuses on building a supportive community for the caseworkers of the Department of Family Protective Services who are doing good work for the children of Harris County. Our events are designed to honor and support CPS professionals, recognizing the invaluable work they do every day.
CPS Appreciation Event
For the past seven years, Entrusted Houston has proudly hosted the annual CPS Appreciation Dinner. Our mission from the beginning was to ensure the event was worth their time, with the hope that each caseworker would leave feeling truly loved and appreciated.
In our first year, fewer than 100 CPS caseworkers attended. By 2023, attendance soared to an incredible 655, highlighting the growing impact and importance of supporting these dedicated professionals.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of both caseworkers and the children they serve.
Check out our Events to find out about the next Appreciation event.
