Lisa Johnson is the Founder and Executive Director of Entrusted Houston, a ministry she launched in 2009 to serve children and families experiencing crisis. What began as a grassroots effort grew under her leadership into an established nonprofit in 2018, expanding its impact across the Houston area by providing essential resources to children and families connected to CPS. Lisa is passionate about mobilizing the community to meet tangible needs and restore dignity to vulnerable children. Her work is deeply shaped by both her faith and her personal experience as a mother of seven children, four of whom joined her family through foster care, giving her a unique and heartfelt perspective on the needs of children in the foster system.

Tammie Jeffers serves with Entrusted Houston, where she has been part of the team since September 2025 and is dedicated to serving the community and building meaningful relationships that strengthen the organization’s mission and impact. Prior to this role, she spent eight years with The Mission of Yahweh as Development Director, working closely with donors, volunteers, and community partners to expand support for the ministry and help grow its outreach and effectiveness. Earlier in her career, Tammie spent more than 20 years in recruiting and staffing and also owned and operated her own staffing business. She has lived in Texas for 22 years and has a deep heart for ministry and serving others.
