A Night of Music, Art, and Impact
When Houston cares, children thrive. That’s the heart behind the Houston Cares Concert, an evening designed to bring people together for unforgettable entertainment while raising critical support for children and families connected with the Department of Family and Protective Service (DFPS).
A Night to Remember
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the doors of Dosey Doe will open for a one-of-a-kind experience. Guests will be treated to dinner and drinks included in the price of admission, followed by a powerhouse lineup of entertainment:
Two Tones Piano Bar will set the stage with their high-energy dueling pianos, bringing audience favorites and plenty of crowd participation.
Live painting by Taft McWhorter, an acclaimed Houston artist, will unfold before your eyes as he creates a work of art that will be auctioned during the evening.
Silent Auction and Wine & Whiskey Pull will add an extra layer of excitement, giving every guest the chance to take home something special while supporting a worthy cause.
Why It Matters
Every detail of the Houston Cares Concert is designed with purpose. Proceeds from the event benefit Entrusted Houston, a nonprofit dedicated to meeting the essential needs of children in DFPS care and the families who step in to love them. From clothing and diapers to furniture and hygiene products, Entrusted Houston provides stability and dignity at some of the most critical moments in a child’s life.
By purchasing a ticket, donating an auction item, or raising a paddle during the live painting, you are helping ensure that no child goes without the basics they need to feel safe, cared for, and at home. This is more than a concert—it’s a movement to show that Houston cares.
