Be One Who Says Yes!
A bold effort to raise $500,000 through 100 partners each giving $5,000 annually. That’s $1,250 quarterly, or $420 monthly.
Why Entrusted?
The Families We Serve
Every day in Houston, children are at risk of being separated from their families because caregivers lack the essentials to provide a safe, stable home. While many organizations focus on foster and adoptive families, Entrusted Houston fills a unique and critical gap. We serve kinship caregivers and biological parents receiving Family-Based Services (FBS)—families who are not receiving subsidy from the state.
When Crisis Hits
Parents in FBS are doing everything possible to stabilize their homes so their children never have to be removed. Kinship caregivers step into crisis with little or no warning. A grandparent or close friend may suddenly be asked by CPS to take in a child so that child does not have to enter foster care. Foster families live with the reality that at any time they may be asked to welcome a child, often with only hours to prepare.
In each of these situations, stability is only possible when families have access to the basics. That is where you come in. Through Entrusted, you provide beds, clothing, car seats, diapers, hygiene products, and furniture that make it possible for children to remain safe and cared for by trusted caregivers.
Why Stability Matters
On average, children in foster care experience four different placements and wait 19.5 months to achieve permanency. Each unnecessary move adds to their trauma, making it harder to heal and thrive. Our programs stabilize these vulnerable situations, giving children the best chance to remain connected to people they know and to find permanency sooner.

A Safe Place at Just the Right Time
We also care for children without placement (CWOP) who might otherwise sleep in CPS offices or hotels. Recently, two siblings under the age of two arrived at our Bunkhouse after 67 homes were called with no placement available.
Because of supporters like you, they had a safe night’s sleep, clothing, diapers, and wipes —everything they needed until a more permanent placement could be found.
No Limits on Love
Entrusted also partners with ministries that serve veterans, refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, women escaping sex trafficking, and low-income schools. For us, there are no limits. If there is a need and we can meet it, we will.
Your Yes Matters
Across every program, the mission is the same: to give children the best chance at permanency, stability, and healing.
When you give, you are not just providing essentials.
You are stepping into a sacred moment.
You provide comfort by giving a child a safe night's sleep to a child who arrived with nothing but fear and uncertainty.
You restore dignity by providing clothing and school supplies to restore a teen
You provide safe transportation in those first days of appointments and visits.
You protect family bonds by giving trusted caregivers what they need to welcome siblings inot their home.
Your “yes” lifts burdens families cannot carry alone and makes it possible for children to achieve permanency faster.
Your generosity turns moments of crisis into stories of hope.
Not Sure?
We understand this is a big committment and you might have questions or need more information.
We have two ways for you to learn more.
If you have never heard of us or have never been to our Resource Center, we would love for you to come tour our Resource Center and learn more about all the ways Entrusted supports children in the child warefare system.
If you are interested in talking with our staff to learn more about this opportunity, we would love to schedule a meeting with you.
Each $5,000 gift is represented by a Heart on our campaign wall—because it’s not just a donation.
Each heart represents a donor’s “yes”, joining with others to beat together for dignity, stability, and permanency.
